Whistleblower Policy

Building and keeping the trust and respect of our customers, employees, suppliers, and shareholders is critical for 4Refuel, a Finning International Company. We honour these relationships, and our employees play an integral role in this. Our Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Policy are essential components of how we hold ourselves to the highest standards of ethics, fairness, and professionalism.

The Whistleblower Policy mandates that directors, officers, and employees report suspected breaches of the Code of Conduct. The Whistleblower Policy supports Finning's value of open and honest communication by protecting employees from adverse employment consequences when reporting suspected breaches.

As an alternative to reporting perceived Code violations through normal business channels, which include an employee's immediate supervisor, human resources personnel or a senior management representative, the Whistleblower Policy also allows employees to make reports to Finning's compliance officer or anonymously to an independent third party.

Disclaimer

Lifecycle GHG emissions refer to the emissions that occur during each stage of the fuel’s lifecycle, including but not limited to the production, transportation and end-use of the fuel. Any emissions values referenced are based on carbon intensity (gCO2e/MJ) figures provided by 4Refuel Suppliers for each low carbon fuel type and are subject to change. The GHG emissions reductions are calculated by comparing the Carbon Intensity of the lower carbon fuels blends sold to the baseline Carbon Intensity of conventional diesel of 93 gCO2 e/MJ (as published in Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations).
