Meet The Management Team

JACK LEE - Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lee is the founder and controlling shareholder of 4REFUEL Canada Ltd. formerly Mini-Tankers Canada Ltd. Jack is a Canadian entrepreneur who has developed and owned successful businesses in Australia and Canada. In 1980, Jack established one of Australia's premier landscape and horticultural companies: Jensen International Pty. Ltd. Jensen, at its peak, employed over 160 personnel and was involved in the design and construction of major commercial landscapes and golf courses. Jack served on numerous industry councils and was founding president of the Queensland Association of Landscape Industries Ltd., and of the Landscape Industries Association of Australia Ltd., of which he was a board member for a number of years.

Jack was previously the first Master Licensee of an existing fuel delivery company in North America, establishing the business in Langley, BC, in July 1995. Under Jack's leadership, the franchise had grown from a "start-up", to annual revenues in excess of $100 million in less than 10 years, achieving recognition as the 5th fastest growing business in British Columbia in a major business publication in 2001. Jack's vision is to develop the 4REFUEL business in Canada to be the recognized national diesel refuelling solution of choice.

TERRY THOMPSON - Executive Vice President

Mr. Thompson joined 4Refuel Canada Ltd. in February 1996. Terry has over 20 years of management experience, and has held senior management positions in the franchising industry. Prior to joining the team, Terry was a management consultant providing strategic planning, marketing, production and financial consulting to small and medium-sized businesses. Terry holds a BComm (1977) from the University of British Columbia.

JOE VALERIOTE - Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Valeriote joined the 4Refuel team in 1997 and was instrumental in the start-up and establishment of the company's operations in Ontario. Joe has over 10 years of general management experience in the transport and logistics industry and has held management roles in business to business environments, fleet management, maintenance and operations consolidation.

JAMES LEE B.Sc., MBA – VP Systems Development & Integration

Mr. Lee has been with the 4Refuel group of companies since April of 2003.  James has over 14 years of project management and management consulting experience in resource based sectors across North America with a focus on information technology development in recent years.  Prior to joining 4Refuel James completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration at the University of British Columbia specializing in Strategic Management and also obtained a Bachelors Degree in Forest Science from the University of Alberta in 1994.  James currently sits of the Board of Directors of U-CON Systems Inc.

DAN JENNINGS - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Jennings joined 4Refuel Canada Ltd. in July 2008. Dan has over 20 years of management experience, and has held senior financial management and executive positions in the vehicle emissions testing and electric power industries. Prior to joining the team, Dan had extensive experience in financial modeling, negotiations, strategic planning and improving operational efficiencies in both Canadian and international operations. Dan holds a BBA (1988) from Simon Fraser University and designations as a Chartered Accountant (1991) and Certified International Trade Professional (2005).

NORM BOGNER - Vice President - International Development

Mr. Bogner joined 4Refuel Canada Ltd. in 2005 and is responsible for leading the company's expansion into international markets. Having lived and worked extensively in Europe, Norm brings over 13 years experience in the areas of management consulting, technology and business development and has completed a broad range of projects for global clients in 12 countries worldwide. Norm holds an Honours degree, a postgraduate in Applied Information Technology and is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE). Norm is a member of the International Franchise Association's International Committee.

BILL BISHOP - Vice President - Marketing and Communications

Mr. Bishop joined 4Refuel Ltd. in 2006 to lead 4Refuel's national marketing and communications. Bill brings to 4Refuel over 15 years of marketing experience with global entities, including a decade in Southeast Asia leading marketing programs for major business to business and franchise brands. In addition to university and post-graduate studies in marketing management, Bill brings to 4Refuel a broad scope of practical expertise in business to business marketing, CRM, corporate communications and program leadership.

DON SADOWSKI - Vice President - Information Systems

Dr. Sadowski is responsible for sourcing and implementing technology and information systems. During his 18 years with technology companies, Don has led hardware design, software design, consulting, manufacturing and project management for transaction capture products and communication systems. With solid electronics and communications engineering training, a strategic management MBA and years of experience, Don brings a wealth of expertise to 4Refuel.

TONI SALIS - Vice President - Fleet & Operations Canada

Mr. Salis joined 4Refuel Canada Ltd. in 2006. Anthony (Toni) has over 30 years experience in the transportation industry and has held senior management and executive positions in which he directed national operations and fleet management as well as national administrative roles. Toni attended the University of Toronto and York University and is a certified Project Manager.
