- How many years is the Franchise Agreement? + Learn more
The initial franchise is granted for a period of 5 + 5 + 5 years. Assuming the Franchisee meets renewal criteria after completion of the first five years and pays the current renewal fee, an additional five years will be granted. Upon expiry of the 15 year franchise agreement the franchisor, at his discretion, may grant another 15 year term to the incumbent franchisee based on past performance for the value of the territory at time of sale.

A limited number of franchises may be available from existing franchisees or from 4Refuel corporate territories. 4Refuel cannot predict when and where those franchises will become available.

Franchise applicants are required to complete an extensive training program. The training occurs at both the head and regional offices and in the field, refuelling tanker units. The training involves:
