4Refuel Continues to Support Emergency Relief Efforts
4Refuel continues to assist with large-scale disaster recovery efforts in the states of Florida and Texas.
In response to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma 4Refuel deployed all available assets and drivers to the two states hardest-hit by these catastrophic storms. Crews have been working around the clock to provide 24/7 relief assistance.
Following the landfall of Hurricane Harvey on August 25, all available assets and drivers were deployed to coastal areas including Corpus Christi and Houston. 4Refuel immediately began operating as a fuel station for first responders, refueling emergency vehicles and generators.
The ensuing fuel shortage, due to numerous refineries going offline, meant a scarce supply of fuel across the state. 4Refuel leveraged its strategic relationships to help bring in diesel and gasoline from outside of Texas.
Less than two weeks later, a convoy of available units and a team of drivers was sent from Texas to various cities in Florida including Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami after Irma’s landfall. Crews resumed the important task of refueling emergency response efforts.
4Refuel crews have provided 24/7 assistance to emergency crews in both Texas and Florida.

This relief effort represents the largest in the company’s history since entering the United States market in 2014. Previous large-scale disaster recovery efforts include aid in support of wildfires, hurricanes, storms and mass power outages.
